2012
Sekoya Beauty® ‘FCM12-097′ was developed and released in Mexico. It stood out as something very special with its exceptional appearance, fantastic taste, crunchiness, and extra-large size, spearheading the SEKOYA® Crunchy Selection.
2013
Sekoya Crunch® ‘FC13-083’ was discovered and selected in Oregon for the same exceptional fruit qualities that define all SEKOYA® berries.
2013
Sekoya Grande® ‘FC13-122’ was chosen the same year and extended the production window in the important mid-high chill growing regions.
2014
Sekoya Pop® ‘FCM14-052’ achieved the same high standards of the previous selections. Also developed in the warmer climate of Mexico, this new variety covered many growing regions around the world to complete year-round blueberry supply.
2017
the SEKOYA® subdivision was founded – a B2B platform designed to facilitate retailers in building stronger value chains by offering a consistent, high-quality product that can be bought directly through a reliable network of grower/marketers all year round.
2023
Sekoya Fiesta™ ‘FC13-113’ made its official debut. The late-producing mid-high chill variety filled the missing link to round up the top-quality fruit supply in the cold-climate production regions like mid- and northern Europe, North America, and Chile. Sekoya Fiesta™ ‘FC13-113’ leads a significant step forward towards extending the available fruit quality in ‘local-for-local’ markets with an extra month.
SEKOYA® Varieties Planted Worldwide
Our SEKOYA® Varieties are planted nearly anywhere in the world, covering fruit supply for every production window, 52-weeks per year.
Retailers can source locally and globally to meet any supply needs from regions and SEKOYA® Members of their choice.
